Dear Petrides Families & Staff,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! Whether you’re new to the Panther family or have been with the school for many years, we urge you to become part of the amazing community Petrides, as well as our PTA, work hard to foster. We believe parent involvement ensures that every child has a voice.

When: September 21, 2023

Where: In-person at the Michael J. Petrides School

Time: 7:00 pm

What we do:

Our goal every year is to support our school and to enrich our children’s education and school experience. We want to help provide programs and resources that positively impact our students and staff and inspire them every day. In addition, we hope to leave a legacy of well-thought-out donations to the school thanks to our fundraising efforts.

How can you help:

We strongly encourage you to get involved at whatever level you are able. We are always in need of volunteers at all of our yearly events. Please email us at PetridesPTA80@gmail.com if you would like to be added to our volunteer GroupMe.  Whether it’s attending a Virtual PTA meeting, volunteering at an event, or sending in a monetary contribution- it all truly makes a difference. 

Family Contribution:

The amount requested for the annual family contribution is $100.00, but please donate whatever you feel comfortable in giving ($10.00, $20.00, $50.00, no donation is too small). Please send in a check payable to MJP PTA or Venmo us @PTAOFMJP. Also, please inquire about your employer's matching gift program!

We are currently looking for an Early Childhood VP position on our Executive Board for a parent of a child in PreK or Kindergarten. If you would like to run for this position, please email us as soon as possible.
