The Michael J. Petrides School, Bridge Preparatory Charter School and The Hungerford School will come together in solidarity to support various nationally recognized charities. This event will take place from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm in Safety City on the Petrides Complex. This event is free for all K – 5th grade students. Parental permission slip, special Color Run shirt order forms and donation slips were back backed home last week.

Just a reminder

Safer Access Door system is here!!

Beginning on October 7, our school will be utilizing the new Safer Access system that was installed on our main entrance. This means that all doors will be locked outside of the morning-entry and afternoon-dismissal periods. When school doors are locked, visitors wishing to gain access to the building will ring the intercom at the main entrance door and identify themselves before access is granted into the school building.

Safer Access allows our dedicated staff assigned to the main desk to be able to see and speak with visitors before granting them access inside. In addition to enhancing safety, this system allows for easy access for first responders during an emergency.

Have a great week!!

Mr. Anthony Tabbitas
