 How Do I Apply for the PAL After School Program?

 
Step 1: Click Here to Access the PAL After School Application for the 2025-2026 School Year
Step 2: Create an account
Step 3: Click dashboard, located on the top left side
Step 4: Click "Add Applicant"
Step 5: Fill out the information for the child who you are registering
Step 6: Click "Create Applicant"
Step 7: Click "Search Programs"
Step 8: In the keyword section input, "COMPASS Elementary: The Michael J. Petrides School (Grades K-5)" OR "School's Out New York City (SONYC): The Michael J. Petrides School (Grades 6-8)"
Step 9: Click "List" to see the school. Click "Add to List"
Step 10: Select the applicant and click "Apply."
Step 11: Click the "Dashboard."
Step 12: Find the applicant and click "Apply." 
Step 13: Fill out the application
Step 14: Click the green "Submit" button on the lower right hand side of the screen

 

Once this is complete, your application goes directly to PAL, and you will be notified when your child is accepted. If you already have an account, you can login and start with Step 7 and continue to the end.
