Dear Parents,

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION for HIGH SCHOOL Parents:

It’s January Regents week (January 22nd through January 25th) – High School students should report ONLY for exams they are scheduled to take.  Students needing to take exams received a personal exam invitation.

 

GOOD NEWS:

The Broadway YMCA will extend a 15% group discount and waive the joiner’s fee to all Petrides High School students while our gymnasium is under construction.  Students need to show their school ID when they sign up for their memberships.

MONDAY 1/21

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day – school closed

 

TUESDAY 1/22

English Language Arts (AM) and Living Environment (PM) Regents exams administered

 

NYPD Presents: Too Good for Drugs Program, 5th and 7th graders

 

Parents as Partners Workshop: Fiesta for Esperanza

Class 520 – 1:00 to 1:30 pm

Class 521 – 9:00 to 9:30 am

Class 522 – 11:15 to 11:45 am

 

WEDNESDAY 1/23

U.S. History, Geometry (AM) and Algebra I (PM) Regents exams administered

 

Parents as Partners Workshop: Rise up! Hamilton

Class 720 – 9:45 to 10:15 am

Class 721 – 9:00 to 9:30 am

Class 722 – 10:30 to 11:00 am

 

NYPD Presents: Too Good for Drugs Program, 5th graders

 

THURSDAY 1/24

Global History, Physics (AM) and Algebra II (PM) Regents exams administered

 

7:00 pm Petrides PTA Presents: Kindergarten Cuties Fashion Show, Auditorium (for families of Kindergarten students)

 

FRIDAY 1/25

Chemistry and Earth Science (AM) Regents exams administered
