Virtual Parent-Teacher Conferences

The Petrides School official conference dates are Nov 21 and 22. Many of our teachers will use the week of November 18 to schedule conferences during a mutually agreed upon date and time. Please reach out to your students’ teacher to schedule an appointment. Please reach out to your students’ assistant principal with any questions.  

 

Parent Teacher Half Day of School

November 22 is Parent Teacher half day. All students will have half day instruction. Please see the schedule below. Contact your students Assistant Principal with any questions.

 

Elementary:

Period 1 – 8:00 am to 8:48 am 

Period 2 – 8:49 am to 9:37 am 

Win Time – 9:38 am to 10:16 am 

Period 3 – 10:17 am to 11:05 am 

*Period 4 – 11:06 am – 11:20 am* - Dismissal

 

Middle & High School Schedule: 

Period 1 – 8:00 am to 8:49 am 

Period 2 – 8:51 am to 9:36 am 

Period 3 – 9:38 am to 10:23 am 

*Period 4 – 10:25 am to 11:20 am* – (Dismissal / Extra 10 minutes)

 

 

Scholastic Book Fair

 

The Petrides School will be hosting our Scholastic Book Fair from December 3 - December 6 and we need your help. 

 

Guardians of Petrides students, we need your help. If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the Google Form before Monday, November 25.

National Elementary School Honor Society

Students who excel academically and model exceptional responsibility can become members of the Michael J. Petrides School chapter of National Elementary School Honor Society through a local selection process that concludes with induction at our Grades 5 – 7 Awards Ceremony in June.

Information on being a NESHS member was backpacked home and is posted on our website.

National Elementary School Honor Society

 

National Junior Honor Society

Membership in the Michael J. Petrides National Junior Honor Society is a great honor bestowed upon a middle school student in grades 6, 7 and 8. Selection for membership is by a Faculty Council made up of middle school teachers and members of the school administration. It is based on outstanding scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship. Once selected, members have the responsibility to continue to demonstrate these qualities.
